UIC hires former Texas, U-M assistant Yaklich


CHICAGO — Illinois-Chicago employed former Texas and Michigan assistant Luke Yaklich as coach on Thursday.The 43-year-old Yaklich grew up in Illinois, performed at Illinois State and coached highschool ball within the state earlier than serving as an assistant at his alma mater from 2013-2017.He spent two years on John Beilein’s employees at Michigan, overseeing the protection because the Wolverines reached the 2018 NCAA championship sport and acquired to the Candy 16 in 2019.
