Jay Bouwmeester collapses on bench; Blues-Geese recreation postponed

Teammates urgently motioned for medical help. Bouwmeester was taken off the bench on a stretcher and delivered to a close-by hospital. Based on Blues broadcaster Darren Pang, Bouwmeester was alert and responsive when taken into an ambulance, a defibrillator was “shut by” after Bouwmeester collapsed, and docs from each groups responded instantly.
Bouwmeester’s father was attending the sport as a part of the workforce’s dads’ journey and went to the hospital with him afterward.
