Baltimore Ravens vs. Los Angeles Rams

Where: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

When: Monday, November 25, 2019, 8:15 pm ET

We have a non-conference Monday Night Football game to discuss when the Baltimore Ravens meet the Los Angeles Rams. Baltimore is first in the AFC North with a record of 8-2 and enters this contest riding a five-game winning streak. Los Angeles is third in the NFC West and has won three of its past five games. The Rams need a win, and a Baltimore victory puts further distance between them and the rest of the AFC North.

Ravens Five Game Winning Streak

Baltimore enters this matchup riding a five-game winning streak and is in first place in the AFC North with a 6-2 conference record. The Ravens hold a two-game lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cleveland Browns and its 8-2 overall mark is the second-best in the AFC thus far this season. Baltimore has an excellent opportunity to raise that record with a victory over the Rams on Monday night.

Los Angeles allows 252 passing yards per game, and Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is having a terrific season, throwing for 2258 yards with 19 touchdowns alongside five interceptions. Jackson has rushed for an additional 781 yards with six touchdowns this season along with 18 sacks. The Rams have recorded 29 sacks this season, and the offensive line will need to be mindful of this.

Tight end Mark Andrews is Jackson’s primary target, and he’s delivered with 48 receptions for 598 yards and six touchdowns. Wideout Marquise Brown has 477 receiving yards with four touchdowns, tight end Nick Boyle has 270 yards with one touchdown, and wide receiver Willie Snead IV has 263 receiving yards and a pair of scores for Baltimore this season.

The Rams allowed just 89 rushing yards per game this season, and Baltimore will look to running back Mark Ingram to hopefully get something going on the ground. He’s rushed for 667 yards with six touchdowns plus an additional 162 receiving yards with two touchdowns this season. Running back Gus Edwards puts in work and has rushed for 390 yards with two touchdowns this season.

The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.

Full-Game Side Bet

This should be a good game, and I think the Rams will have something for Baltimore on Monday night. Cooks returns, and that will give Goff one more quality receiver to throw to, and if Woods returns from whatever he’s dealing with, Goff could have a big day. It will be difficult for Los Angeles to slow down Jackson, but the Browns defense did it, and so can the Rams. If they can contain Jackson, they will win this game. Either way, I will take the points and go with the Rams to cover at home.

Prediction: Rams +3

Full-Game Total Pick

This is going to be a close one, and I expect these teams to score the football. If they can’t contain Jackson, the Rams are going to be throwing the football, and Goff has the weapons to keep up with Baltimore. I suspect the defenses are going to have a tough time containing the weapons both teams possess, and I have this one ending with the Rams winning 31-28. I will play the OVER in this game.

Prediction: Over 46.5
