Elfrid Payton’s Hamstring Still Not Fully Healed
Elfrid Payton has missed the last 10 games because of a stressed right hamstring and won’t see the court for at any rate a week and a half. The group has reported that Payton’s damage still isn’t completely recuperated and that he’ll be reconsidered toward the finish of November.
Payton marked a two-year, $16 million arrangement with the Knicks this late spring and was in prime situation to go after the beginning spot with Frank Ntilikina and Dennis Smith Jr.
In the four games that Payton played in October, he arrived at the midpoint of 8.0 focuses and 3.8 helps. While those numbers miss the mark regarding the ones he’s posted at past stops in Orlando, Phoenix and New Orleans, there’s a lot of space for development.
The Knicks at present sit in the second-last spot in the Eastern Conference with a record of 4-10. While there’s a lot of turnover on the program, the absence of progress makes them think about lead trainer David Fizdale’s future with the association.
